Introduction to PCB design for 1st year engineering students

In this 1st session, the mentor is Hadil Khlifi, a 1st year EE student. She started by presenting the technology of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for a group of 1st year students from Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science. She dived into the historical development, and unraveled the PCB advantages and applications. Then, she detailed the intricate process of PCB manufacturing gaining insights into the technology that powers modern electronics. In order to learn the fundamental techniques of using Altium Designer, she showcased a practical application detailing the design details of a Low Dropout Regulator.
