Introduction to PCB design for 2nd year engineering students

In this session, the mentor is Hassen Rekik, a 2nd year EE student. During this workshop session, tailored for 2nd-year students, he provided an introduction to PCB design technology and Altium Designer software. He covered the basics of PCBs, their fabrication processes, and the role they play in modern electronics. The focus on Altium Designer was aimed at equipping participants with practical skills for electronic design. Through demonstrations, he walked participants through the process of schematic design, PCB layout, and routing using Altium Designer. By the end of the workshop, participants gained a foundational understanding of PCB design principles and were equipped with essential skills to start their own design projects.
